Their services
Jobcentre Plus is a centre that helps people to get into work. They also manage most types of financial support from the government called ‘benefits’. The information, advice and support they provide is free of charge. They can help you to:
- Find a job including free use of the computers and WiFi to update your CV and look for jobs
- Provide training opportunities to develop your skills and experience for work
- Apply for financial support ‘benefits’ - you will usually need to attend an interview at Jobcentre Plus as part of your application

If you are not confident in English, you can ask for an interpreter (usually provided by phone) for your appointments
- You will need to book this in advance by phone or in person
- Check before you visit - many organisations are running remote or limited services because of Coronavirus
