Their services
The Connected Communities team offers free support to help you get settled in Haringey. Their trained advisors only ask for information that will help to solve your problem, and will not share any details without your permission. Their services include:
- Haringey Works - careers advice, help to look and apply for work, support in the workplace
- Haringey Adult Learning Service (HALS) - courses and apprenticeships to develop your skills and experience for work, including ‘ESOL’ English language classes
- Housing - help to find a home, resolve problems with landlords, and support for the homeless or those at risk of homelessness
- Early Years - free childcare for all 3-4 years olds and eligible 2 year olds, and learning activities for young children
- Help to connect with people - signposting to local groups, activities and events
- Help with other queries - from form filling to managing your money, and understanding your rights as an EU citizen
Get in touch
- If you are not confident in English, ask someone who can speak English to help you call Connected Communities or accompany you to an appointment
- Check before you visit - many organisations are running remote or limited services because of Coronavirus
